Arnold Okpani

PhD [Postdoctoral Research Fellow]

Arnold is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of British Columbia. His research Employs mixed-methods approaches to evaluate the impact of interventions at both the individual and health systems levels. With a background in medicine and public health, his work aims to advance evidence-informed strategies that enhance patient safety and strengthen health system resilience. Arnold is interested in fostering research and practice collaborations between institutions in countries across the income categories.

Dr. Okpani completed his medical training in Nigeria before earning a Master’s degree from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, England, and a PhD from University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.
