Our team has been working with the Ministry since 2018. Between 2019 and 2023, the Ministry has made substantial in-kind and cash contributions to integrate ActionADE with PharmaNet and community pharmacy information systems. The Ministry has been actively engaged in the ActionADE project’s provincial Steering Committee to provide input to all aspects of ActionADE’s evaluation and pilot implementation in four emergency departments. Our team will continue to work with the Ministry and other stakeholders to amplify the benefits of ActionADE.
VCH has a long and productive history of working with our team to improve pharmaceutical care for patients with multi-morbidity and complex care needs and has previously collaborated to co-design and integrate ActionADE with PharmaNet. VCH has decided to scale up ActionADE across the health authority and worked with our team to evaluate the scale-up process by using robust research methods.
The College has committed in cash contribution to the development of ActionADE. Our team has been collaborating with the College since 2015. The College also ensures that our team has access to key stakeholders in the pharmacy sector. A member of the College also actively engaged in the ActionADE project’s provincial Steering Committee to provide input to all aspects of ActionADE’s implementation and evaluation.
Our team developed a formal partnership with LMPS in 2022. LMPS is committed to contributing to scaling up ActionADE across healthcare facilities within VCH. It will be engaged in qualitative work to understand the determinants of successful uptake of ActionADE and tailoring implementation strategies.
Our team has been working with Connected Display Excelar Technologies since 2018.
